   dude, murphy’s law just got them good.. shit happens! they made a risk & paid the price, that’s part of sailing like it’s the late 19th century. the fact they set sail in a rebuild of a ship originally designed in 1787 (that was around the time people were hunting witches & burning them just so you have an idea)… apparently with a dodgy engine & generator all while in the midst of a historic meteorological event just to make some party in florida seems pretty foolish. i can see the allure of wanting to braving the storm, sounds fairly fun actually… but unfortunately murphy couldn’t pass up an opportunity like that & now they are all being plucked from the sea by superior technology at the risk of brave coastguard members lives… so no need to be upset at me, it’s sure not my fault they are bobbing around in the ocean. just have a drink & enjoy the fact you’re not the one out there in the swells like any real sailor person would.
